Guide
Welcome to Christora!
Christora is a Christian community portal where you can talk with others, find friends, write posts, share photos and videos, react to other people’s content, comment, send private messages, take part in shared conversations, and discover Christian-themed content, products, community pages, and groups.
This guide briefly explains how you can use the site.
1. Registration and Login
Registration is required to use Christora. After registration, your own user profile is created, through which you can take part in the life of the community.
After logging in, you can access, among other things:
- your own profile;
- the news feed;
- posts and comments;
- photo and video sharing;
- private messages;
- the Chat;
- pages and groups;
- the Christora Shop;
- Blog content.
If you do not have an account yet, register, fill in your basic details, and you can already join the community.
2. Completing Your Profile
Your profile is the foundation of your community presence on Christora. This is where your name, profile picture, cover image, posts, photos, videos, connections, rank, and badges appear.
It is worth uploading:
- a profile picture;
- a cover image;
- a short introduction;
- basic profile information.
Your profile picture does not necessarily have to be a photo of your own face, but it is important that it should not be misleading, should not be an image of another real person, and should not create a false identity. Please do not use a Christian religious figure, Jesus, the Virgin Mary, saints, or celebrities as your own profile picture.
The cover image can be chosen more freely. It may be, for example, a nature image, a Christian-themed image, a church, a landscape, a visual without a quote, or another tasteful background.
3. Writing Posts
You can write your own posts in the news feed. You can share thoughts, experiences, questions, prayer requests, encouraging messages, photos, videos, or community-related topics.
You can write a post in the text field at the top of the news feed.
For example, you can write:
- a personal thought;
- a question for the community;
- a Christian-themed post;
- a prayer request;
- an encouraging message;
- an experience report;
- photo or video content;
- a community call or announcement.
When posting, please make sure that your post is respectful, well-intentioned, and understandable for the community.
4. Commenting
You can write comments under other people’s posts. The purpose of commenting is conversation, connection, asking questions, encouragement, or respectful exchange of opinions.
When commenting, you can:
- agree;
- ask questions;
- add something;
- share your own thought;
- encourage others;
- debate respectfully;
- express prayer or support.
Please avoid personal attacks, harassment, threats, hate speech, spam, and a severely destructive tone. Christora does not want to be a sterile, lifeless site, but community respect is a basic requirement.
5. Uploading Photos and Videos
You can also share photos and videos on Christora. These may appear in the news feed, on your profile, and on the community photo and video surfaces.
You may upload, for example:
- your own photos;
- event photos;
- community moments;
- Christian-themed images;
- short videos;
- constructive and inspiring visual content.
Please upload only photos or videos that do not violate the rights of others, are not obscene, unlawful, harassing, or harmful to the community.
If you share an image of another person, please do so, whenever possible, only if the person concerned has agreed to it, or if the sharing does not violate their personal rights.
6. Reaction Icons
On Christora, you can show what you think about a post not only with a simple “Like” reaction. Several types of reaction icons are available so that you can give feedback in a more nuanced and personal way.
The reactions include both general and Christora-style icons, such as:
- Like;
- Love;
- Laugh;
- Amazed;
- Angry;
- Sad;
- Rejoice;
- Wink;
- Ask for Blessing;
- Pray;
- Celebrate;
- Donate;
- Give Thanks;
- Thought-Provoking;
- Help;
- Give;
- Light a Candle;
- Keep Vigil;
- Receive.
With these, you can quickly but expressively show if a post brought you joy, made you think, awakened compassion in you, or if you would like to express prayerful attention.
7. Comment Stickers
You can also use Christian and mixed-theme stickers in comments. These are small image reactions that can make comments more playful, kind, and personal.
Among the stickers, you may find, for example:
- smiling icons;
- Christian symbols;
- prayer-related images;
- angel, church, and biblical-themed stickers;
- general kind, funny, or community-style stickers.
When writing a comment, click the sticker icon to open the sticker panel. Choose the sticker you want, and it will be inserted into your comment.
The purpose of the stickers is to make conversations more colorful and more human. Please use them as well with good intentions and in a respectful way.
8. Mustard Seed Points
On Christora, you can collect Mustard Seed points for your community activity. The name refers to the mustard seed in the Gospel: even the smallest seed can grow into a large tree. In the same way, every small good action, kind reaction, comment, share, or connection in the community can create value.
You can receive Mustard Seed points, for example, for:
- logging in;
- writing a post;
- commenting;
- uploading photos;
- completing your profile;
- creating connections;
- community activity.
The purpose of the points is not competition, but playful feedback that you are actively taking part in the community life of Christora.
9. Ranks
Based on your Mustard Seed points, you can reach different ranks. These ranks may also appear on your profile, making it visible where you are in your community presence.
The following ranks are currently available on Christora:
- Interested Visitor;
- New Member;
- Connected Member;
- Present Member;
- Community Member;
- Faithful Member;
- Encourager;
- Witness;
- Community Builder;
- Exemplary Member.
Ranks may change as your community activity grows. The more actively, meaningfully, and regularly you take part in the life of the community, the higher rank you can achieve.
10. Badges
You can also earn various badges on Christora. Badges are connected to specific community activities or milestones.
For example, you may receive a badge if you:
- write your first posts;

Badges show in a playful way how you connect to the community. They may also appear on your profile.
11. Using Pages
On Christora, you can also create or follow community pages. Pages can be suitable for presenting topics, initiatives, people, projects, communities, events, or content directions.
A page may be, for example:
- a Christian music page;
- a fan page;
- a community initiative;
- a page connected to a blog or project;
- a page presenting an event or ministry;
- a thematic content surface.
Pages may have followers, photos, videos, posts, and an introductory text. The page administrator is responsible for ensuring that the content of the page complies with Christora’s Community Guidelines.
12. Using Groups
Groups can be smaller community spaces within Christora. A group may be created around a shared interest, topic, ministry, prayer community, discussion circle, or another community purpose.
In groups, there may be opportunities for:
- shared conversation;
- connection around a topic;
- sharing photos and posts;
- organizing community life;
- sharing prayer requests, thoughts, or content.
Christora’s Community Guidelines also apply to the operation of groups. A group may not be used for spam, harassment, hate speech, deception, or harming the community.
13. Private Messages
On Christora, you can also send private messages to other users. This allows for more personal conversations, getting to know one another, coordination, or direct contact.
Private messages may be available in several places, for example in user lists or through message icons connected to profiles.
In private messages, we also ask for a respectful tone. The following are not allowed:
- harassment;
- threats;
- unsolicited advertising;
- unsolicited sexual content;
- aggressive proselytizing;
- repeated unwanted messaging;
- disturbing another user.
If someone harasses you in private messages or abuses the system, you can report it to the operator.
14. Chat – Shared Community Chat
The Chat is Christora’s shared community chat surface. Here, members can talk to one another through short messages.
The purpose of the Chat is to provide a relaxed, direct, and friendly community space where people can quickly say hello, talk, react, or connect with others.
When using the Chat, please:
- write respectfully;
- do not spam;
- do not harass others;
- do not use threatening or hateful language;
- do not publish personal data;
- do not send dangerous or misleading links.
The Chat updates automatically, so new messages may appear within a short time without refreshing the page.
15. Shop
In the Christora Shop, you can find Christian-themed products. These may include, for example, NFC keychains, fridge magnets, and later other Christian products, gifts, or merch items.
In the Shop menu, you can view the available products, their prices, descriptions, and purchase options.
The purchasing, payment, shipping, and withdrawal conditions related to the products are included in the Terms and Conditions and in the information displayed in the webshop.
16. Report Function
If you see content that you believe violates the Community Guidelines, you can use the report function.
You can report, for example:
- a harassing comment;
- an offensive post;
- spam;
- a misleading profile;
- hateful content;
- pornographic or unlawful material;
- a post containing another person’s personal data;
- a dangerous link;
- behavior that harms the community.
A report does not mean automatic deletion. Moderation may review the report, take the context into account, and take action if necessary.
Please use the report function responsibly. Do not report content simply because you disagree with it or because it expresses an opinion that is uncomfortable for you. Report only if you see an actual rule violation, harassment, spam, or content that harms the community.
