The christora.com website operates as a Christian community portal and retail webshop.

The purpose of the website is to provide users with an online community space, as well as the opportunity to purchase products available in the Christora Shop.

On the Christora community platform, registered users can create profiles, share posts, photos and other content, connect with other users, and take part in the life of the community.

In the Christora Shop, customers can order the products displayed on the website. The product details, prices, shipping information and other conditions shown in the webshop form part of the information relating to purchases.

3. Nature of the Service

Christora consists of two main parts:

  • a Christian community portal;
  • a retail webshop.

Use of the community portal may require registration. Users are required to use the community platform properly, while respecting the rights and dignity of others.

The range of products available in the webshop may change from time to time. The operator reserves the right to modify the product range, introduce new products, or remove existing products.

4. Registration and User Account

In order to use the community functions, the user may need to register. During registration, the user is required to provide true and accurate information.

The user is responsible for the security of their own account, for keeping their login details confidential, and for all activity carried out through their account.

The operator reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or delete a user account if the user’s activity violates the law, these Terms and Conditions, the community rules, or the spirit of Christora.

5. User Content

On the Christora community platform, users may publish their own content. This may include, in particular, posts, comments, photos, profile information, and other community content.

The user may publish only content for which they have the appropriate rights and which does not violate the rights, reputation, human dignity, intellectual property, or applicable laws of others.

The operator does not undertake an obligation to review all user content in advance, but reserves the right to remove unlawful, offensive, community-damaging, spam-like content, or content incompatible with the purpose of Christora.

6. Products and Prices

The essential characteristics of the products available in the Christora Shop are displayed on the product pages.

The prices displayed in the webshop are gross prices, meaning that they include value added tax where VAT payment obligation applies to the given product or service. Prices must be displayed to consumers in gross form; displaying prices and fees is a consumer protection obligation.

Product prices do not automatically include shipping costs, unless the relevant product page or the ordering process expressly states otherwise.

The operator reserves the right to modify prices. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

7. Order Process

The customer may place the selected product into the cart on the product page, and then provide the data required for fulfilling the order on the checkout page.

Before submitting the order, the customer has the opportunity to check and modify the contents of the cart, the billing details, the shipping details, and the selected payment and shipping method.

By submitting the order, the customer makes an offer to purchase the products included in the cart. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by the operator.

The operator is entitled to refuse the order if the order is incorrect, impossible to fulfill, contains an obviously incorrect price or data, or if fulfillment is prevented by law or other circumstances.

8. Payment

The payment methods available in the webshop are displayed during the ordering process.

The customer may select the available payment method on the checkout page. The operator reserves the right to modify the available payment methods.

Fulfillment of the order may depend on the selected payment method and its successful completion.

9. Shipping

The Christora Shop currently delivers exclusively within the territory of Hungary.

Shipping is carried out through the services of Magyar Posta.

Shipping fees are displayed in the webshop, on product pages, in the cart, or during the ordering process. Before finalizing the order, the customer is informed of the total amount payable, including any shipping fee.

The operator is not responsible for delays arising within the sphere of responsibility of the shipping service provider, but strives to properly inform the customer about the status of the order.

10. Fulfillment Deadline

The fulfillment and shipping time of products may be displayed in the webshop or in the order confirmation.

The operator strives to process orders and hand them over to the shipping service provider as soon as possible. Fulfillment time may depend on product availability, successful payment, and the operation of the shipping service provider.

11. Right of Withdrawal

A customer qualifying as a consumer is generally entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal without giving reasons in the case of online purchases.

In the case of product purchases, the 14-day withdrawal period generally begins on the day the product is received.

The consumer may indicate their intention to withdraw to the operator by making a clear statement at the following email address:

info@christora.com

In the event of withdrawal, the consumer is obliged to return the product to the operator without undue delay, but no later than within 14 days from the communication of the withdrawal statement.

The operator refunds the amount paid for the order affected by the withdrawal under the conditions specified by law.

The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the consumer, unless the operator provides otherwise.

If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, they are responsible only for any decrease in the value of the product resulting from use exceeding what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.

12. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The consumer may not exercise the right of withdrawal in all cases. The exceptions to the right of withdrawal are determined by the applicable laws.

Such an exception may include, in particular, a non-prefabricated product made on the basis of the consumer’s instructions or at the consumer’s express request, or a product clearly personalized for the consumer.

In the case of digital content or a digital service, the rules on the right of withdrawal may differ, especially if performance began with the consumer’s prior express consent and the consumer acknowledged that they may lose their right of withdrawal. The withdrawal rules for digital content are subject to specific legal conditions.

13. Implied Warranty, Product Warranty, and Guarantee

The customer may be entitled to implied warranty, product warranty, and, where applicable, guarantee rights under the currently effective Hungarian laws.

In the event of defective performance, the customer may request repair, replacement, price reduction, or, as a last resort, withdraw from the contract under the conditions specified by law.

Warranty or guarantee claims may be submitted at the following email address:

info@christora.com

Detailed guarantee and warranty information may also be available under a separate Warranty menu item.

14. Complaint Handling

The customer or user may submit a complaint related to the operation of the website, the community service, an order, a product, or fulfillment at the following email address:

info@christora.com

The operator investigates and responds to complaints in accordance with the applicable laws.

The consumer is entitled to contact a conciliation body or consumer protection authority if their dispute cannot be settled directly with the operator.

15. NFC and Digital Content

Certain products may operate with NFC technology or another digital connection, the purpose of which is to open online content through phone contact or another technical solution via the physical product.

Use of the NFC function may require a suitable NFC-enabled device, an active internet connection, and a compatible browser.

The operator is not responsible for errors resulting from the settings of the user’s device, the NFC function being switched off, internet connection problems, browser errors, or errors of third-party services.

The operator reserves the right to modify, develop, or restrict for technical reasons the digital content, subpages, functions, appearance, or availability connected to the products.

16. Limitation of Liability

During the operation of the website and webshop, the operator strives to ensure continuous and secure operation, but does not guarantee that the website will be available error-free or without interruption at all times.

The operator is not responsible for errors, damages, or losses resulting from internet connection failures, device errors, browser errors, hosting provider problems, errors of external service providers, unauthorized intervention by third parties, or force majeure events.

The user who publishes the relevant content is primarily responsible for user content published on the community platform.

17. Intellectual Property

The own content, visual identity elements, graphic solutions, texts, logos, digital systems, editorial solutions, and other self-developed elements of the christora.com website may be protected by copyright and other legal protection.

The content found on the website may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written permission of the operator.

With regard to content uploaded by users, the user warrants that they have the appropriate rights to publish the content.

18. Modification of the Terms and Conditions

The operator reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions.

The modified Terms and Conditions enter into force upon publication on the website, unless the operator specifies a different date.

The modification does not affect orders that have already been concluded and confirmed, unless otherwise provided by law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Hungary.

In matters not regulated in these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the currently effective Hungarian and European Union laws shall apply.

20. Final Provisions

By using the website, using the community platform, or placing an order in the webshop, the user or customer accepts the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
